The Val di Sole is in the westernmost part of Trentino, betweenLake Garda and Alto Adige. It is a valley that lies between the picturesque Brenta, Adamello-Presanella, Ortles-Cevedale and Maddalene mountain chains.
 
WINTER
In winter it is a skier’s paradise, with the largest skiing area in western Trentino, taking in the winter resort of Folgarida-Marilleva and joining up with the slopes of Madonna di Campiglio, Pejo and Passo del Tonale.
 
If you get tired of always skiing and riding on the same old slopes and you prefer to spend your days flying in freedom down one new run after another, the Val di Sole is the place for you!
Thanks to an all-inclusiveski pass and an invaluable network of connections with the free ski buses, it is possible to ski in a new resort every day. You can take on runs which are different every time but are nonetheless always hugely appealing.
 
The variety and beauty of the pistes and the quality of the schools, which can be found in Folgarida-Marilleva, Passo del Tonale (also in late spring) and Pejo, are what make the resorts in the Val di Sole a skiers’ and snowboarders’ paradise, surrounded by some of the most famous mountain chains in the Alps: the Brenta Dolomites, Adamello-Presanella and Ortles-Cevedale.
 
All of the facilities can easily be accessed by train and shuttle bus directly from the hotels.
 
SUMMER
In the summer it is a real garden of Eden, with the Stelvio National Park and the Adamello Brenta Natural Park covering a third of the area. The Val di Sole is the only zone in Italy where two protected natural parks come together. This guarantees a truly unspoilt natural environment in total harmony with the rhythms of the numerous animal species that live there.
